The sky was covered in clouds, it seems to be the theme of weddings for me this summer. I arrived at Running Deer Golf cLub and the rain was trying its hardest to ruin the outside ceremony. I entered the bridal suite and you would have never know it was so gloomy outside. Elisha and her bridesmaids were incredibly warm and welcoming. The rain won and the ceremony was moved inside but It didn't matter. the love in the room was contagious and I was so excited to be the one who was there to capture it. After the dances, the speeches and dinner, Nick took the mic. Everyone was given warning that if you wanted to say 'hi' to them they could find them on the dance floor the rest of the night, and that is exactly where they were for the next 2 hours. The dancing was amazing and only ended when the music was silenced and the lights came up. Congrats Elisha and Nick!

I have been photographing these two since before Jack could walk. They are one of my favorite subjects. They have so much love for each other and are seriously two of the sweetest kids I have ever met. Their mom, Kristen, is an old college friend of mine and I am so happy when I get the email that she wants photos of her kids. You can only imagine my excitement when she asked if they could be down the shore this time. That was a quick YES! It is especially flattering because Kristen is a great photographer herself! Can the summer not be over and I just spend every day at the beach photographing kids? And what better way to finish photos but with rides, dancing and ice cream (not pictured, my face was shoved in a waffle cone!).
I have known Lily's dad for over 15 years (!!) and I couldn't be happier for him and his wife and their wonderful baby girl. I was so excited when I was asked to capture this special day for them. They are truly one of the happiest couples and now have a happy blessed girl. Enjoy!
2 weeks ago I made a trip to my home state of New Jersey to photograph this awesome family. They have an adorable 22 month old son and twin newborn girls. They have their hands full but are so calm and work together so well! I could have stayed there all day and followed them with my camera. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
